The Cabinet Style Studio Showroom
Welcome to the Cabinet Style Studio kitchen and bath showroom! Located at at 5945 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago, features a large, interactive kitchen with cabinets by Wellborn Forest. Other live displays include products from Fieldstone Cabinetry, Kohler plumbing, Wolf, Viking appliances, and more!
A great deal of care was taken to provide the prospective client physical access to the wide range of options available. Creating a custom designed space, be it a kitchen or a bath, requires certain understandings that our showroom is designed to clarify.
For instance, most design work begins with the corners, and there are three primary ways to design corners. One is a corner sink, another the popular Lazy Susan, and the third is the blind corner cabinet. All three applications are physically displayed, making it easier for clients to define their preferences. Along with the corner applications, a physical display allows one to explain turning radiuses, or dishwasher clearances with greater understanding.
The showroom also has a variety of wall cabinet heights to better help clients choose. We have 24”, 30”, 36”, 39”, 42”, and 48” tall wall cabinetry on display to provide a sense of scale and proportion.
When designing the kitchen and bath vignettes I was determined to do more than a typical kitchen and bath showroom. I wanted to bring the displays to life. With that in mind we have created a complete Sub-Zero and Wolf kitchen that is used daily and a Kohler steam and body spray shower display that is likewise fully functional.
While a photo can be worth a thousand words, nothing will replace the tactile sensation or visual stimulation of visiting the showroom. The cool touch of marble or silkiness of a perfectly finished cabinet door can only be experienced in person.

Most of the vignettes are named, reflecting the inspiration for the aesthetic and functional characteristics of the design.
