In the 1930’s it was the Hollywood Hotel where Clark Gable and Carole Lombard secreted themselves away during their private trysts. One suspects that the hotel was chosen in part because of it spectacular bathrooms!
Our version of the Hollywood Hotel Suite Bath starts with simple subway tile with an Art Deco accent tile. For the ceiling and curved areas, glass subway tile was utilized and for the floor, slip-resistant matte tile.
To pamper the “Star” in your home, the shower boasts three body sprays: a hand-held on a slider, overhead multiple-spray standard and rainforest head. To relax after a work-out or recover from a late night, a Kohler steam mist system is installed that produces waves of steam within minutes.
Other noteworthy features of the bathroom include Undermount Memoirs lavatory in Ice Grey, ½” heavy glass shower door by Bathworks and Carrera and statuary marble flooring.
The vanity is 24 ½” tall with three beveled mirrors. It seems like this updated classic style is being expressed in many current kitchens. The timeless style and functional design make this a comfortable and elegant bathroom that could grace your home for many years, keeping your investment safe.
